About KCHOBW

Learn about our organization, leadership structure, and commitment to serving bishops in Kisii County

Who We Are

Our Organization

The KISII COUNTY HOUSE OF BISHOPS WELFARE (KCHOBW) was founded on March 20, 2025, to champion the welfare of bishops in Kisii County by restoring honor to the office of the bishop and pooling financial resources for their economic well-being.

As an inter-denominational group, we unite bishops across different Christian traditions to rally together for collective community development initiatives, organize retirement schemes, and build retirement homes to ensure social security in retirement.

Our unique approach focuses on empowering bishops during their active service rather than posthumous honoring, with deliberate efforts to restore honor and dignity to bishops and senior clergy through retirement schemes and homes.
